Tujague's in New Orleans, LA is looking for one foh restaurant manager to join our 49 person strong team. We are located on 429 Decatur St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of House restaurant operations including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding high standards of service and overall cleanliness
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas

o Respond to complaints and take appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests

• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Provide direction to front of house employees regarding operational and procedural issues
• Hire, supervise, train and develop all front of house staff including servers, bartenders, baristas, hosts and runners

o Manage performance feedback and discipline of these employees

• Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
• Order and supply restaurant with linens, bar items, glassware, dinnerware and other front of house items as needed
• Responsible for managing the point of sale system for the restaurant

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work long hours
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that the guest experience is excellent
• Must be able to coordinate a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems
• Must possess basic knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
