We are looking for an Indirect Purchasing Buyer to enjoy our team in Bologna.

MISSION

Develop, guide, and execute the purchasing strategy in multiple categories of indirect spending. Ensure optimal agreements with mitigated risk by collaborating, providing advice, and guiding feasible and efficient procurement and purchasing processes.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Develops and implements strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, and process efficiencies
• Define negotiation strategies and close deals to reach optimal terms
• Contribute, in collaboration with business units referents, to define business indirect purchasing needs making proposals (alternative solutions) of cost reductions and efficiency gains
• Translate the business priorities into qualitative and quantitative purchasing targets
• Launch and oversee the calls for tenders with particular support for real estate and construction needs
• Prioritize projects according to potential savings (cost, value-added, etc.) and their feasibility over the short, medium, and long terms
• Managing the Purchasing Orders emission and guaranteeing the delivery of materials and services
• Provide support to other company’s functions regarding the procurement of indirect materials and services, planning, analysis of expenditure, prices, assistance, and contractual negotiations
• Supervision complex negotating contracts adopting a problem-solving approach
• Contribute to implementing and improving the procedures about indirect materials and services purchasing to reach long-term savings and improve purchasing processes, in collaboration with the Purchasing Processes andSytemsSpecialist
• Export and standardize these processes in all Bonfiglioli plants worldwide and monitor results through standard KPI.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics
• 3/5 years of experience in similar role in international company
• Excellent negotiation ability
• Time management and problem solving skills
• Proactivity and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred
