Job description

There is an exciting opportunity to join Pirelli modelling team to enforce the virtual design of tyres (with specific focus in NVH area, both structure-borne and airborne) and to harmonize simulation tools and methodologies with the Pirelli worldwide technical centres.

Requirements:
Master degree of Mechanical/ Aeronautical / Civil Engineering is preferred

Background in the following areas (in priority order) would be beneficial:

Acoustic simulations and NVH

Finite Elements simulations (implicit & explicit, preferably Abaqus) ideally on tire applications

Signal processing

programming languages like Python (or Matlab) for automation of pre and post-processing tools

Key skills required:
Be able to demonstrate an innovative and flexible approach

Open-minded and able to work in Team

Be highly self-motivated, ready to work strict deadlines and have a flexible approach to working hours

Excellent English language written and spoken, knowledge of Italian would be beneficial

Seniority: low or no experience
