Position Title: Key Account Manager- Cranes
Danieli Group, a world wide leader company which has produced and exported top level technology and innovation worldwide in the metal industry for more than 100 years is looking for a talented, experienced sales professional with steel industry experience with knowledge and practice in Cranes to join our US Sales Team! This position can be fully remote and based anywhere in the United States!

How you will contribute and grow in this role: *
- Creation/team-up of the sales organizational structure in US market.
- Outlining of technical-sales strategy and monitoring of offer quality creating synergies with local supply chain.
- Build up the local US supply chain for service and local fabrication of cranes parts (bridge girders, trolley frames) in order to improve competitiveness and reduce Equipment Total Costs of Ownership in standalone projects specially.
- Definition of realistic and achievable sales budgets in line with the company targets.
- Proposal activities of the Business Unit in team-up with JAM / HQ offices / Customer Responsible / PM Office.
- Technical analysis of offers / offer review (RIO) and optimization of job order costs.
- Preparation of a list of priority offers in coordination with the Lev.1 & Lev.2 managers of the Business Unit.
- Follow-up of USA sales activities of the Business Unit with a view to technical-sales strategy, offer quality, RIO preparation and job execution.
- Management of negotiations with customers to get the order.
- Visits to major customers, taking part in progress meetings on offers and job orders.
- Drawing up the sales contracts, setting the deadlines for payment collection and associated bank guarantees in team-up with Financing & Contracting.
- Increase of customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requests received from the Customer Responsible and JAM are fulfilled.
- Dissemination within the LDP of know-how acquired during job execution to improve offer quality and competitiveness.
- Definition of best approaches to after sales services, including extraordinary maintenance support to key-customers
- Build up of Local partnerships to ensure 24/7 support on critical machines for key customers
- Proposal activities on existing cranes modernization
- Proposal activity on technological packages to be installed on existing cranes
Must Have's and Skill Sets:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience working for or with an OEM within the steel industry
- Specific experience in selling and educating on Crane products and/or related product lines
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% on an annual basis
- Comfortability presenting to small and large groups both in-person and via the web
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required
