Compensation: $12-14 per hour, based on experience and education, PLUS $1,000 Sign on bonus! (Contingent upon 30 days of employment with good attendance)

Cherry Hills Learning Academy of Omaha is a licensed childcare center seeking a lead infant teacher! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education. Our mission is to be a nurturing environment for young children trusted by parents. We accomplish this by focusing on the needs of our students through age-appropriate educational activities in a fun, loving, and safe setting.

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
• Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
• Implementation of lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Completion of Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with younger children preferred
