The Goddard School, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking experienced, qualified, caring, and energetic Lead Teachers.

The Goddard School provides a Piaget (Learning through Play) based foundation. As the leader in the franchised preschool industry, Goddard is growing and continues to set the standard for excellence in education-based childcare. The focus of the program is to provide a Life-long Love of Learning. Our faculty is comprised of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each child’s needs. They are highly qualified childhood educators who are able to use their creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in fun and imaginative ways.

Daily Responsibilities

Our Lead Teachers responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing lesson plans that include S.T.E.A.M.
• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Meeting the individual needs of the children
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Using assessment tools to track the progress of each student

Most importantly, our Lead Teachers create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
We use a ZONO machine that helps our teachers clean materials in the rooms! It helps them save a significant amount of time and energy that they are able to use to focus on the children.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wexford, PA 15090: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
