Our company is growing and we are looking for an experienced Project Superintendent to join our team.

SCHEDULE:

• 7:30AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT RESPONSBILITIES:

• Supervise and oversee project team and subs (to include electrical, insulation, roofing, and controls contractors) on HVAC project work.

• Prioritizes safety and drives team to complete audits and all safety requirements to promote a safe working environment.

• Strong ability to manage project schedules.

• Solve complex job-related problems or bring solutions to the project manager.

• Collaborate with sales to verify scopes and provide project estimates.

• Clear and regular communication with project manager and clients.

• Attend all project meetings.

• Maintain tool inspection reports.

• Ability to read and understand construction documents / specifications.

• Review submittals, installation and operation manuals.

• Use software to build Gantt charts to communicate project timelines.

• Ability to write daily reports and correspondence.

• Lead team to close projects with excellent customer communication.

• Oversee team to ensure they leave job sites clean at the end of each day.

• Must have experience in pipe installation and supervisory role(s)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical installation (commercial/industrial)

• 1 to 5 years of experience managing projects and personnel. Interact effectively with all levels of employees and management

• Must be a highly motivated individual, possessing time management skills and able to multitask

• Can work independently without supervision and also capable of working within a team environment.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and understanding of data center and facility infrastructure desirable.

• Interpersonal skills for coordinating projects with multidisciplinary request and functions.

• Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.

• Must be able to work with a variety of tools.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent Trade School completion (preferred)

• Certifications related to HVAC/electrical work (preferred)

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels.

• Courses in construction safety are a requirement.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Position requires individual to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push and pull throughout the shift.

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Construction Superintendents: 1 year (Preferred)
