MARTINI Brand Homes Business Developer role is related to TERRAZZA MILANO, including all internal/external communication from a premium brand home, such as ticket sales and marketing the events business.
Develop MARTINI Brand Homes business strategy through specific and direct sales tasks, as well as working with tour operators to achieve the targets, profitably.
Acquire new customers and consolidates existing community through promotion activities and relational skills and ability.
Support marketing, media relations and communications campaign created by Brand Homes Sales & Marketing Manager for MARTINI Brand Homes at a local level in Milano, under the lead of the MARTINI BH Manager (in conjunction with Global and ITA marketing teams).
Driving plan to deliver the 40K guests expected and breakeven by FY25 in Milano, as well as increase revenue streams by developing and managing related sales. Overall to manage outward face of MARTINI venues across all aspects, and deliver profitable revenue from events.
Working very closely under/with the ITA & Global Brand Team to stay up to date with current Brand Visual Identity/marketing platforms, and always remain ‘on brand’.Responsibilities
MAIN SCOPE OF THE ROLE
- Acquire and manage premium customers events (Corporate and Private) from Milan and Global market by promoting Terrazza Martini venue as the best event location in Town
- Understanding the relationship between brand equity/advocacy and revenue.
- Working in partnership with Global and local marketing teams to attract the target market, while also delivering revenue from events and general visitor numbers (consumer business)
- Driving target market to site (35% 25-45yr old)
- Innovate new PR and promotional activities to drive footfall through Terrazza and raise awareness.
- Facilitate Consumer Business activation during weekend, according with Brand Team vision and messages.
- Together with S&M Manager is responsible for the creation and running of specific A&P initiatives to drive footfall to sites – with regular updates on results. Create, develop and implement a fully integrated Marketing strategy for Terrazza Martini, monitoring campaign effectiveness including promotions ROI.
- Awareness of profit and loss, ticket pricing and strategy, on-line sales systems and commercial aspects, including marketing/advertising of the business and media purchasing.
- Keeping the MARTINI sites front of mind within the Tourism Industry, including award submissions.
- Build relationships and liaise with the local community on event sponsorship and charity, engagement, leveraging all opportunities as well as general community relations on local level.
- Respect brand visual identity on site and external communications relating to MARTINI Brand Home site, working closely with the Global and local brand teams (as well as their agencies) to ensure that all advertising, signage and interpretation is on brand
- Responsible for any branded content from site – all photos, video, text that influence Terrazza positioning.
- Assist with scripting/key message delivery for events
- Work within the wider Bacardi business when launching new content to ensure compliance, social responsibility, legal and brand approval.
- Represent MARTINI BHs at external events including trade fairs and offsite events.
- Manage film crews, photographers on site and journalists in case PR Team is not available.
- VIP hosting of both internal and external guests as required by the MARTINI Brand Home Manager and/or Operation Manager.
- Any other duty reasonable requested by the MARTINI Brand Homes Manager to promote the venues.
- As with all employees on site – the overarching aim is to drive advocacy and sell more MARTINI products globally.
Skills and Experience
FUNCTIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Fundamental understanding of the key importance of excellence in customer experience and premium hospitality
- Proven personal business network and contacts as facilitator for the business growth
- Proven experience in effectively working with people, processes, projects and change management in a leisure/hospitality led environment
- Adopt and update shared Calendar tool (TripleSeat) with all required info to grant a successful events management
- Must be highly capable in the use of all Microsoft tool including Excel, Word and Powerpoint with excellent copywriting skills
- Highly organised and comfortable working within a team and on own initiative, but able to work within set parameters
- Experienced in liaising with and across a variety of sectors at all levels
- Flexibility – evening & occasional weekend work will be required
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree or relevant professional qualification (Business Management, Hospitality & Tourism, Marketing Based)
- Same or comparable position in the premium Visitor Centre/Tourism industry (min 5 yrs ideal)
- Experience in new digital/social media marketing models
- Experience in International / Global company with a matrix organization
- Experience of event management, attractions and leisure facilities
- Experience of media planning and implementation of PR campaigns to targeted audiences
- Proven track record of sales and marketing and management of operational budgets vs forecasts
