A Brief Overview
The JBER Material Handler/Inventory Clerk position is responsible for the coordination of JBER purchasing activities which includes the physical and administrative control of receipting, stocking and issuance of material and equipment utilizing Navision, DU's accounting software.

The JBER Material Handler/Inventory Clerk position is responsible for the coordination of JBER purchasing activities which includes the physical and administrative control of receipting, stocking and issuance of material and equipment utilizing Navision, DU's accounting software.
What you will do
- With direction, develop purchase requests which support utility operations.
- Receive material shipments and complete corresponding dock copies.
- Issue material to construction crews based on project material lists.
- Verify material invoices.
- Deliver materials to construction sites.
- Assist Administrative Assistant in generation and maintenance of Manager Plus entries.
- Provide backup office services in the absence of the Administrative Assistant.
- Pickup material and equipment from Anchorage-based vendors.
Conditions of Employmen t:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug test thereafter in accordance with the published policy of Doyon Utilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State of Alaska.
- Must be eligible to work on a military installation in Alaska. Eligibility to work on a military installation includes compliance with Department of Defense mandates with respect to employee background and health directives.

- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage time effectively when accomplishing tasks, projects and goals.
- Ability to listen, write and speak effectively, and positively relates and interacts with co-workers and others.
- Ability to multi task and support various activities.
- Familiar with business office equipment such as copiers, printers and fax machines.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- State of Alaska Class B CDL within 180 Days Required
