Job description:
At DFS, we offer the industry's most comprehensive line of tank gauging products, from innovative tank gauges to state-of-the-art tank calibration services.

Responsibilities:
Following all mechanical design of the Automatic Tank Gauging solutions (ATG) business unit, new projects and improving the existing solutions:

Standard & flexible probes
Floats family improvements
Density float kit improvement
3D laser redesign
Mechanical clock family redesign
Drawings for documentation
Following certification of a product, in terms of document preparation related to the mechanical part

Tools for improving production Key Relationships:
Global ATG BU Technical Senior Manager
Engineers of ATG BU, including QA and CI Engineers
Document specialist Manager & Support technicians

Required profile: Skills & Experience:
Mechanical Engineer Degree
Mechanical background and design skill using the SolidWorks software
A basic knowledge of electrotechnics / electronic is preferred
Programming skills is not essential
Added value to the evaluation is the knowledge of fluid-dynamics principles and knowledge of ATEX mechanical development rules
The person will follow all the mechanical aspect of the ATG products and production.
Design experience of new solutions and improvements
Project management experience
Fluent in Italian & a good standard of English
