Job Description:

The main objectives of the role are to perform mechanical assembly, integration, modification and structural repair for space and avionic applications.

Mechanical Integrator primary tasks:

• to perform mechanical assembly, integration, modification and structural repair for space and avionic applications taking into account approved methods and tools detailed in the task documentation.
• bi-component gluing activities on flight hardware (thermal hardware, mechanical supports, MLI standoff…)
• hardware handling by means of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and by using crane
• Thermal vacuum, climatic chamber, anechoic chamber mechanical set-up execution
• Delivery of the production documentation (e.g. as-run procedure)
• Ability to comply with the cleanroom and workshop Health, Safety Environment and cleanliness rules.
• to perform first level Quality inspection, FOD (Foreign Object Damage/Debris) prevention and to ensure continuous improvement

Education/Training :

Essential :

• Mechanical Operator Expert

Experience:

Essential :

• At least 4-5 years of work experience on mechanical integration

Desirable:

• work experience on electrical integration (crimping and soldering)
• experience in MGSE (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment) design
• experience in using crane and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

Tool or product requirements:

• MS Office

Languages:

• At least Basic in English
