Schedule: 4 hours per week Monday through Friday #24999

Salary: $45 / hour

• A high school diploma or equivalentis required; Graduate from board approved, accredited educational program leading to Professional qualifications.
• Must possess current Occupational Therapist credentials valid in Massachusetts
• Must have one year of relevant work experience with intellectual & developmental disabiliies, brain injury, autism or behavioral health conditions
• Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference check, employment verification check and education background checks

Vaccine Mandate Policy

All new employees, interns, and volunteers within Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14 days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons by the first day of employment with Vinfen.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and summarize an individual's condition and history into a formal Occupational Therapy Assessment. You will develop treatment plans for each individual and for group therapy and train direct care staff on specific OT techniques around individual goals and group treatment. The Occupational Therapist encourages independence in activities of daily living for the individuals Vinfen serves and introduces and trains on the use of assistive devices, advocates for the special needs for each individual we serve, and follows regulations established by the MassHealth.
