About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Oakland office and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all office procedures and protocols are followed, as well as developing and implementing new systems and processes as needed. The Office Manager will also be responsible for managing relationships with vendors and contractors, managing office expenses, and ensuring that the office is a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
Responsibilities:
Manage office operations and procedures, including managing the office calendar and scheduling meetings
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Plan and execute on-site office events, including coordinating catering, audio/visual equipment, other logistical details and ensuring a productive meeting experience
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including negotiating contracts and service agreements, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all vendors and contractors are meeting their contractual obligations
Manage the office budget and reconcile expenses
Ensure the office is properly stocked with supplies and manage vendor relationships
Manage the reception area, greeting visitors and ensuring a positive guest experience
Troubleshoot basic audio/visual issues and coordinate with IT for more complex issues
Oversee compliance with all health and safety regulations
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes when required
Provide administrative support to the team as needed
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as an Office Manager or similar role
Experience with event planning and managing onsite events
Basic audio/visual troubleshooting skills
Experience with G Suite or similar productivity tools
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Pay:
Target pay range for a Level 3 in San Francisco/Bay Area: $76,000 - $90,000*
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
