The Operations Analyst is responsible for controlling operations and services offered through different Amerant Bank channels based on the best practices and market comparison, to provide recommendations on how we can improve efficiency and effectiveness across our organization and to optimize customer’s perceptions of the product to guarantee accurate quality and service levels, according to the established guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Review current policies and operating procedures, developing changes to enhance efficiency, and working with our managers to implement new policies and procedures as needed
• Investigate and resolve internal issues and changes related to current industry standards
• Create and maintain documentation of tools and processes
• Publish approved Bank Procedures and Policy Manuals into the Online Manuals Portal
• Maintains departmental Policy and Procedure documentation; completes annual policy review making necessary updates as required
• Monitor quality service for outsourced operational services
• Monitor controls and processes in place for outsourced services
• Evaluates claims details to analyze trends
• Identify key trends using data & analytics that drive business decisions

Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or Business

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience working in an office environment, 5 preferred. Some banking experience helpful

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:

Hands-on experience with some of the following: analysis, improvement

Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Word Level II, MS Excel Level II and MS PowerPoint Level I required.
