As Production Process Engineering Trainee, the candidate, with the help of the Production Department, will learn several lean manufacturing tools and will be exposed to several technological processes with the scope to master them. The Production Process Engineering Trainee will support the organization to achieve all defined targets in terms of quality, delivery level and manufacturing costs.

The main activities of the Production Process Engineering Trainee will be the following:

• To support the definition, validation, standardization, maintaining and improving of manufacturing processes and systems, with a particular attention to CNC controlled processes as EDM (electro discharge machining), internal and external grinding, laser welding and wire winding;
• to maintain and update all manufacturing documentation as Process Flow Diagram, Manufacturing Check Lists and Standardized Work Instruction (IOP);
• to support R&D Department during product definition in order to achieve a good balance between Customer requirement and design for Manufacturing;
• to collaborate in the analysis of quality and production issues;
• to collaborate in the definition of requirements and specification for new equipment and tools;
• to collaborate in the definition of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures and plan;
• to support in machine breakdown analysis.

The ideal candidate shows the following requirements:

• Master of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Aeronautical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering;
• fluent knowledge of Italian and very good knowledge of English (at least B2 level of CEF);
• strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package in particular Excel and Access;
• very good knowledge of Autocad;
• mechanical Drawing understanding and analysis;
• knowledge of technical references for layout definition and ergonomics;
• sufficient knowledge of CNC-Sinumerik and CNC-Fanuk;
• sufficient knowledge of Monozukuri/Toyota Production System;
• sufficient knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
