FANUC America Corporation provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. We are currently searching for a dynamic, Project Manager to manage paint shop project execution (planning, engineering, resources, contract, communication and financial control) from receipt of PO through buy off and close out.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage, direct and lead project team members including but not limited to design engineering, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation engineering and sub-contractors
- Responsible for profit, cash flow, on time delivery and quality
- Manage customer expectations and modes of operation to complete contract scope
- Develop schedule, resource and procurement plan
- Forecast project financial performance
- Manage project changes and protect FANUC from financial risk
- Provide input on quoting/pre-sale activity
- Cost management and cash flow accuracy for improved project profitability
- Extensive travel up to 75%
- Exposure to paint (including 2K isocyanates), sealer materials, as well as paint/sealer application areas required
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience
- Minimum five years Project/Program Management experience
- Experience with ERP system, BaaN and/or Oracle preferred
- Project/Program Paint Application experience preferred
