Within Group Reinsurance, we are looking for a candidate to join the P&C Treaty Retrocession unit, who is in charge of the purchase of P&C treaty reinsurance for the benefit of the whole Group. The successful candidate will be buying reinsurance protection for selected portfolios of business (Motor, Personal Accident, Bonds, Travel&Assistance) written by different Generali companies worldwide. The jobholder will have the following responsibilities:
Preparation and analysis of the information needed to buy such protections, including the contractual documentation (with the support of a dedicated team of experts), the design of the protection, the negotiation of the contract with Reinsurers and Brokers and the reporting activity once the contract is finalized
Responsibility for the outcome of the contract finalization, in terms of economic terms, contractual features and timing
Implementation of the guidelines received in terms of Reinsurers and Brokers’ selection and management
