At Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, we are looking for our next Restaurant Manager to create memorable guest experiences at ORO, our Michelin star restaurant.

The Restaurant Manager reports to the hotel EAM F&B and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and for achieving and exceeding the restaurant's targets in terms of guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial metrics.

The ideal candidate knows and understands the social scene of Venice, has worked as Restaurant Manager in a luxury hospitality environment for a few years (ideally also on international level), specifically in a Michelin-star restaurant, speaks Italian and English fluently, and is extremely passionate about Food and Beverage.

Requirements

• In charge of handling all aspects of the restaurant operation in close collaboration with the Executive Chef Riccardo Canella and EAM F&B including but not limited to the food and beverage experience, staffing, scheduling, training, health & safety, inventory management, supplier relations and negotiations, and budgeting
• Assess that the restaurant has the organizational structure, processes and tools to deliver strategic priorities and sustainability targets
• Identify opportunities and develop solutions to enhance guest experience
• Assist with the setting of the department’s objectives and budget
• Lead, train and coach the restaurant team towards achieving exceptional guest service
• Foster a culture of growth, development and performance within the restaurant
• Work closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure service excellence
• Support projects across the business as required
• Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately
