ROR Repair Technician

Role Purpose

Responsible for providing quality building and testing of electronic racks.

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

• Assemble/Disassemble equipment to gain access to components, using hand tools.
• Clean devices using cleaning materials and work aids.
• Test device performance and functionality of key features
• Examine device diagnose malfunction, using work aids and specifications.
• Requisition parts and materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, instructions, and specifications to determine needed repairs and operation sequence.

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)

• This is a specialist position.
• Technical affinity and excellent computer skills required.
• Fine Motor skills and high degree of accuracy required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally prefer 2 years of repair experience with fine electronics (e.g. experience soldering printed circuit boards)
