Job Summary:

Scratch Burger, a fast-growing burger chain, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Syracuse location. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, and driving sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and manage a team of employees to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency
• Create and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal regulations
• Maintain inventory and control costs through effective ordering and waste reduction
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards to ensure a healthy and enjoyable dining experience for customers
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
• Collaborate with marketing team to promote the restaurant and drive customer traffic
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and sales forecasts

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in restaurants, 18 months of leadership experience , including leading a team of 10+ employees
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving profitability
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with restaurant operations software and POS systems
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
