Reports to

Financial Controlling Responsible report to Head of Finance

Mission of the Job

Working with the Head of Finance, the Financial Controller oversees the day to day activities of the controlling department ensuring an high level of service to the business.

Main activities

• Define controlling model structure and hourly rate analysis and configuration
• Execute contractual analysis and consequential identification of accounting treatment rules (IFRS 15)
• Roll out Estimation at Completion (EAC) review process
• Support ERM Manager in Enterprise risk management report (ERM)
• Perform programs cost monitoring including purchase request approval
• Execute WIP calculation, accruals estimation, risk and opportunities evaluation for monthly closing activities
• Roll out budgeting activities : annual budget, outlook year end, Operational Plan (3-5 years)
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigative issues and support business decision
• Prepare documents for internal and external audit being the main interface with auditors

Competences

Education/Training :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent

Experience:

• At least 5 years experience in financial control and reporting gained in a multinational company
• Experience with cost/cost method – IFRS15
  
  

Tool or product requirements:

• Technical knowledge of international accounts reporting rules and consolidation principles
• Computer literate with good excel skills and understanding of accounting software principles
• SAP – FI CO SD MM modules knowledge

Languages:

• Italian
• Good level of English
