Our Client is a global management consulting firm and leading advisor on business strategy.

We are looking for a SENIOR IT ARCHITECT who will collaborate with colleagues on national and international client projects. Together with our clients, will develop superior IT strategies, concepts, and solutions actively and on site, applying sound technical know-how, experience in IT projects, and analytical/conceptual skills. Based on previous technical expertise and project experience, will be able to provide content guidance to and to coordinate smaller teams.

Particularly he/she will be in charge of:

• Management of work packages/modules in critical IT implementation projects
• Architecture and code reviews and performance of technical proofs of concept
• Analysis of complex IT application landscapes
• Analysis of the status quo and optimization of IT architectures
• Functional and technical online and Internet strategies
• IT project management and quality assurance
• Optimization of application development processes.

Main Skills:

• university degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration;
• at least 5 years of practical experience in the field of IT consulting, professional software development, or IT project management;
• experience as a project leader or team leader, management of small to medium-sized teams (three or more people)
• extensive technical expertise (overarching understanding of architecture, object-oriented programming languages, database design and systems, component technologies, XML standards, and current technology trends);
• experience in requirement and configuration management;
• insighting into quality and risk management processes;
• outstanding analytical and conceptual skills;
• business-fluent written and spoken English language skills;
• client and results orientation;
• confident and convincing manner;
• team spirit, communication and presentation skills, and mental agility;
• flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel.
