Excellent opportunity to be a Tax Senior for this small, Atlanta based CPA and tax consulting firm.

This position pays between $80,000 - $110,000 on an annual salary (based on skills and other determining factors as decided by the talent acquisition lead) and offers exceptional benefits, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k), and paid holidays.

What You Would Be Responsible For:

• Prepares and reviews complex individual, corporate, partnership, estate, gift and trust tax returns
• Serves as a technical resource for tax staff and interns
• Conducts basic and complex tax research
• Collaborates with firm colleagues to conduct tax planning for individual, corporate, partnership, estate, gift and trust tax clients
• Reviews federal, state and local tax notices and drafts responses
• Supervises tax staff and interns as required for assigned engagements
• Participates in firm wide and tax department administrative projects
• Acts as primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Fosters collaborative working relationships with all firm personnel
• Assists with training of other tax department or firm accounting personnel
• Develops a network of industry peers and business contacts, meets with prospective clients, and cultivates referral business

What Qualifications We Require:

• CPA license (CPA eligible or EA credentials, minimum)
• 3-6 years of experience in public accounting
• Tax experience in the areas of individual, business, estate, real estate, corporations and trusts
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of complex tax issues, including tax accounting, tax law, tax reduction strategies, and tax planning
• Expert level proficiency with LaCerte and UltraTax tax preparation software, tax research solutions, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office software
• Bachelor or Master's degree in accounting (or taxation)
