In our mission to significantly grow the business, the EMEA Diabetes transformation program is dedicated to elevate patients, health care professionals (HCPs) and payors trust and confidence by transforming their Medtronic experience thru personalized and integrated solutions. The goal is to create a scalable, proactive customer-centric ecosystem in which all functions are an integral part of the value stream. During this multi-year program, we holistically transform the patient journey by investing in innovative ways of working from both an organizational and technological perspective. The program empowers and enables talents to identify, develop and deploy processes to serve our Diabetes market. In the program we identified five distinct value streams across the Go-To-Market and Offer-To-Cash focus areas, covering Patient, HCP and Payor interactions. Our ambitions are to increase patient experience, increase employee satisfaction and reduce our cost-to-serve.
The Regional Transformation Program Lead holds full responsibility on the planning and execution of the GTM+OTC Transformation in the country/region. This person needs to drive change in the organization, while respecting the need to perform operationally, creating in the organization the needed sense of urgency and passion for the future state and establishing an environment where ambidexterity becomes the norm.
Highly influential, with strong commercial experience and a clear thinking and strategic mindset, not afraid to get into the details but also able to draw the big picture, this candidate is expected to belong to the EMEA transformation program leadership, bringing critical insights from the country and helping shape the future of the business also beyond his country borders. Expect 30% of travelling activity.
A Day in the Life
- Leads and leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
- Thinks and inspires other people to think in a customer centric way, outside-in.
- Manages stakeholders across functional/business/country organizations to create buy-in and engage them for the deployment and success of their initiative(s).
- Collaborates through the matrix, making sure new ideas are accessed, developed, and adopted.
- Ensures the right capacity from local resources to facilitate the successful deployment.
- Leads the Transformation Program deployment via multiple initiative(s) to ensure successful delivery of commitments that are aligned with the Business Director, Value Stream Leaders & Project Mgrs.
- Monitors the projects of the Transformation Program from initiation through delivery. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Collaborates and uses data to analyze opportunities, Set and monitor ROI, and track results against benefits supporting overall program prioritization & focus across the patient journey.
- Utilize project and change management methodology to enable effective execution
- Act as a change management agent in driving adoption for new business models, technologies and process automation.
- Maintain stakeholder maps and execute communication plans for own projects with the program team
- Identify, raise and support communication needs to manage stakeholders and organizational understanding of initiatives
- Demonstrate behaviours to support and enable the organization to change
- Facilitate workshops to support project team needs

- +5 years of Professional Leadership Experience in roles as Head of Business Unit or Marketing
- Master’s degree preferably, in applicable areas desired.

- Experience working in a complex matrix environment.
- Understanding of key concepts of change management, communications with a strong ability of stakeholder management.
