Ninety-two quintessential, California-styled suites and bungalows dot the lush, terraced grounds featuring seven-acres of gloriously landscaped gardens with sweeping views of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. Original architectural features have been lovingly restored, including the historic, trellis-lined Arbor and Lily Pond. Modern additions to the expansive outdoor zero-edge pool and a new beautifully appointed boutique spa enhance the journey for today’s luxury-seeking guest.
We are seeking an engaging Spa Desk Agent to be responsible for the welcoming and departing of the Spa guest in a courteous and efficient manner. Book Spa services and process all payments according to establish Spa procedures. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry. Cover spa attendant duties while they are on break. Coordinate therapists and become the “quarterback of the spa” during busy weekends and group-booked days.
Requirements
Requires previous related experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. The successful candidate must be a polished communicator possessing fluency in English; any foreign language fluency such as Spanish, French, Japanese or German is a plus. Also required is the ability to provide legible communication and directions; strong attention to detail; and the ability to work well under pressure for appointments, walk-ins, or departures within any given period of time. Computer experience with spa software is a plus.
