Job description
Our client in Tupelo, MS is seeking to hire an experienced stocker.
Pay: $12.50 per hour
- Day shift - Part -time
- Monday to Friday
- Weekly pay
Responsibilities include:
- Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/ on bins, pallets, shelves, racks and refrigerators
- Unload and move heavy, bulky products
- Keep the work area clean, organized and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves), and dispose of trash
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Stocker
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push / pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment
- Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area
- Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
- Previous experience in receiving, handling and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred
