Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting Canplas’ Duraflo and Vaculine product lines by deploying market strategies and tactics to realize established sales and marketing objectives for the US market.
Major responsibilities include:
- Manage a defined regional sales territory for the Duraflo and Vaculine product categories. Working with regional sales agents, develop, plan, direct, and focus on achieving company growth targets and in addition service house accounts.
- Support innovation and product management to investigate new product designs and technologies by acting as the conduit with customers and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with wholesalers to defend our current market share while maintaining or increasing the profitability of Duraflo and Vaculine products.
- Maintain product knowledge, customer relations, division sales strategies and goals for Duraflo and Vaculine and ensure sales agents are updated.
- Attend and participate in trade shows to promote and support product offerings.
- Promote and follow-up on activities aimed at continuous sales opportunities while ensuring continued positive relationships with customers.
- Provide market feedback and regional forecasting info to senior management.
- Ensure key information is entered into the CRM on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferably in business or marketing.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a sales capacity.
- Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communications skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and CRM.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as add value in a team environment
