BAT ITALY IS LOOKING FOR A Trade Planning & Insights Intern

FUNCTION: Italy Trade

LOCATION: Rome, Italy

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of Italy Trade Team based in Rome and is a great opportunity to learn and get fully involved in a multi-cultural, open environment.

This internship is a structured learning experience that combine in-class theory with real-world applications, while being supported by an experienced team of professionals.

As a Trade Intern you will be part of the Italy Trade team supporting in multiple activities. Strategic topics as well as operational tasks right from the beginning and be part of a dynamic team contributing to the business results.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• 
  Support in the update of monitoring excel dashboard
• Analysis of data for reporting purposes
• Work closely with other departments to ensure communication flows
• Industry and competitor analysis
• Analysing data with the identification of threats and opportunities
• Supporting in Field Force activities implementation/optimization
• Supporting in the development of ad hoc project

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, Statistics; Master degree is a plus
• Good knowledge of English
• Previous working experience is considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office package, in particular of Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player, with a positive and constructive attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fast- learner, willing to adapt to a changing environment
• Able to manage multiple tasks
• Able to prioritize tasks independently to meet deadlines
• Able to deal with large amounts of information and make conclusions
• Interest in Trade activities, processes and IT related systems
