Job description
Advanced Oxygen Therapy (AOTI) provides Advanced Wound Care products that utilize our patented non-invasive Topical Wound Oxygen (TWO2) therapy. Our innovative products can help close all wound types, and are particularly effective in chronic (diabetic, pressure, and venous ulcers) and acute (post-surgical, cosmetic, and burn) wounds.
Job Summary
Route movement of incoming and outgoing cargo, freight and shipments in airlines, trains, trucking, and shipping docks. Maintain the warehouse, its logistics and upkeep, equipment cleaning and servicing, shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, customer service and technical support. Coordinate paperwork to maximize billing and collections.
General Accountabilities
- Advise clients on transportation and payment methods
- Track delivery progress of shipments
· Estimate freight or postal rates and record shipment costs and weights · Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
- Enter shipping information into a computer by hand or by a hand-held scanner that reads bar codes on goods
- Check import or export documentation to determine cargo contents and use tariff coding system tofy goods according to fee or tariff group
- Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping or freight companies
- Install straps, braces, and padding to loads to prevent shifting or damage during shipment
- Route received goods to appropriate storage areas or departments using hand trucks, or other equipment
- Open cargo containers and unwrap contents, using steel cutters, crowbars, or other hand tools
- Contact vendors or claims adjustment departments to resolve shipment problems or contact service depots to arrange for repairs
- Perform shipping, receiving, mailings, restocking, inventory control and keep quality standards high for audits
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment such as pallet jack, hand carts
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, restock shelves, bins, process and pack orders
- Ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner
- Able to work in a team environment or with minimal supervision and have great work ethic
- Dependable with excellent time management and documentation skills
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures rules and regulations
- Follow all Sage/NetSuite ERP System procedures
- Correspond and assist all company representatives, government representatives, and patients
- Clean and maintain warehouse
- Perform special projects, as necessary
- Perform cleaning, repair, PM and service of company products
- Perform technical and customer support, as needed
- Performs all necessary administration and customer service tasks when necessary
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience
- Familiar with medical device quality systems a plus
- Microsoft office suite proficient Skills
