The Italy HR Manager has a full responsibility in all compartments of the HR Domain for the Italian sites : Milan and Catania. He/She will focus on supporting the different businesses in an R&D and Sales environment (90% Engineers).

The immediate Manager is the Southern Europe HR Director (France - Spain - Italy). You'll work closely with the Italy Country Manager, the SOuthern EUrope HR team and the HR centers of excellence (Staffing, C&B, Talent and Culture).

Environment

The HR function has a very high visibility. As such, you'll have to be role model on Ethics matters in a performance driven culture. The population is mostly R&D in a high tech environment.

Main duties:

  • Staffing, recruitment : Work with managers to define compelling staffing plans and anticipate skills evolution. There's a strong support of the staffing team. You may also participate in job fairs and community/university events to attract best talents
  • Onboarding

Challenge and define the current Onboarding process to accelerate the new employees efficiency

  • Talent Development

In relationships with the HRBP and the other HR Managers, define, design and deliver talent development plans including succession planning, training sessions, coaching or mentoring activities. You'll also work within the talent development team to implement corporate programs.

  • Organizational Development

You'll have to provide recommendations or proposal to the local teams or HRBP re their organization to support the business activities.

  • ER/IR

You'll drive the employee relations locally in coordination with the Southern Europe HR DIrector and the Country Manager. You will also be responsible to keep the peaceful ER/IR environment and be the custodian of labor related legal rules.

  • Workforce management

You'll have to drive workforce management activities in close relationship with the HR DIrector and the HRBP. These actions may be collective or individuals and mostly performance driven.

You can expect to participate in projects or have the full responsibility of projects across Southern Europe - Mostly for SOphia ANtipolis and Grenoble (France)

Other duties / comments

As a key member of the Southern EUrope HR team, you'll play a significant role in the team. You can expect to either work with HR from other sites to deploy specific projects or to drive and implement new projects at regional level. Driving the HR administration is also expected.

You'll be the voice of NXP in several local administrative and political bodies.
