Job description

The equipment maintenance technician role is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on multiple toolsets and ancillary support equipment. The equipment maintenance technician works in a fast-paced team environment along with Process Engineering, Manufacturing and Equipment Suppliers to solve equipment sustaining problems and/or to improve tools performance.

Responsibilities:

Obtain working knowledge of Fab tool sets to perform required maintenance as specified. Understand and incorporate safe work practices, adherence to specifications and checklists, standard work, lean processing, as well as 5S methodology. Technicians in CHD Fab will write standardized work and may own process change projects.

Requirements:

Experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment is a plus Education or experience related to electromechanical. AA Technical Degree or military equivalent experience preferred. Competent in troubleshooting problems and capable of applying logic to isolate and repair them. Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals and concepts
