We have a large Gas Distribution project running in Central and Eastern Iowa over the next few years and are seeking to hire a variety of union Laborers, Operators, Fusers and, Foremen to join our growing team. Each position varies in job duties and responsibilities. The information listed below is a broad overview of all job openings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the hard and soft surface restoration
• Experience in forming and pouring city sidewalks, ADA ramps, Curb and Gutter
• Able to work in changing weather conditions
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and stay late as needed
• Willing to travel overnights during the construction season
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and maneuver in small areas
• Federal Med/Health Card
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, Class A CDL is preferred

Description:

• Use of hand tools
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Keep worksite clean and organized
• Maintain open communication with crew members
• Follow safe practices and written procedures
• Check and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe working order
• Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, and worksite or traffic laws
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections daily
• Perform other duties as assigned
