Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
- Using hand and power tools
- Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
- Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
- Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances and necessary demolition
- May also include drywall, patching, and painting
- Checking the accuracy of completed work in accordance with the plans
- Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances
- Supervising crews and subs on site
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3-5 years carpentry experience and knowledge of remodeling
- Proficiency in all trades, including; frame to finish
- Must have a strong work ethic and take pride in all work
- The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools
- Strong communication skills
- Must possess ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and tools of the trade required
- Must be willing to pass a criminal background check in compliance with regulations
Salary and Benefits:
- $45,000 - $75,000 per year.- Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
