LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

ABERDEEN, MD

Seeking to hire a Linux System Administrator to support the Army Research Lab DSRC, located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland. The selected system administrator will work with a team of engineers to review and define configurations, create automation scripts to deploy and configure network assets, review and deploy software applications, and provide support for testing, demonstration, and technical interchange meetings to include troubleshooting, patching, hardening, and configuration management.

Requirements:

• Top Secret Security Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT II (or better) Certification (i.e. Security+)
• OS Software Certification (i.e. Linux+)
• US Citizenship

• Puppet
• Unix and ability to create/ maintain scripts
• VMware
• Computer & System Certificates
• STIG Compliance
• Kickstart

Preferred Experience:

• Networking
• Ovirt
• Slurm
• PBS
• Zabbix Radix/ eMASS (or similar scanning tools)
• Archival Storag
• Systems HPE Amanda Backup
• Software

This is a full-time, fully-funded, temp-to-hire position in Aberdeen, MD.
