Logitics coordinator Tier2

A Logistics Coordinator coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts and finished products between various production areas and external warehouses. Ensures material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules. Being a Logistics Coordinator collects and analyzes data on current orders, production levels, and sales forecasts to estimate future demand for materials. Typically requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Logistics Coordinator typically reports to a manager. The Logistics Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Logistics Coordinator typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.

Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.

Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production department.

Prepare reports for all materials and manage transportation of materials from one department to another and prepare all production records on computerized system.

Coordinate with all department managers to ensure accountability for all materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of high school diploma, Associates Degree or trade school equivalent is a plus.
• Experience with material handling & material organization.
• Strong teamwork, communication and decision making skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage changing and multiple priorities
