Job Summary

Opportunity for skilled licensed massage therapists with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join Kaya Kalpa, a division of Mount Madonna Institute’s Wellness Center. Preferable a practitioner in Aptos, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, and surrounding areas.

On-call practitioners for all days of the week, especially Friday - Sunday for retreat and program guests at Mount Madonna Center.

Vaccination: Staff and volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to work and live onsite.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Swedish, deep tissue, ayurvedic massage, and/or other types of massages. Spa Experience *

Additional qualifications a plus, but not required

• Background in ayurvedic education. *

• Experience in various types of bodywork and holistic healing modalities including cranial sacral, energy healing, yoga, etc. *

• Familiar with scheduling platforms such as MindBody and Square. *

Responsibilities:

• Provide and create a welcoming and professional wellness and healing space Greet and check-in and check-out clients *

• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which treatments would benefit them most. Stay updated on certification and massage techniques, and stay in practice with your craft. Maintain a clean and professional workspace and follow COVID-19 requirements. Referral and collaboration with MMI’s herbal store, Ayurveda World. *

Compensation: $55/hour
