Overview:
Waters-ERA is currently leading a search for a Production Supervisor who is primarily responsible for leading the ERA Process Water Consumables manufacturing team. This role will oversee direct reports and be responsible for conducting employee evaluations and individual development plans. Additional responsibilities include coordinating departmental tasks, training, product manufacture, analytical verification, process improvements and conducting regulatory compliance for the ERA Process Water Consumables Product Line.

The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Process Water Consumables team, Commercial team, Quality, IT, and EH&S to ensure the highest level of product quality and value are provided to Waters-ERA customers. The position will work with the Production Manager and the Technical Managers supporting daily requests and production due dates.
Responsibilities:

Product Production & Leadership:

  • Serve as lead for the ERA Process Water Consumables Team and coordinate departmental tasks and scheduling.
  • Oversee direct reports and responsible for conducting employee evaluations and individual development plans.
  • Provide guidance to the Process Water Consumables laboratory staff and train new employees.
  • Collaborate with Planner and Environmental Team to meet the production schedule.
  • Responsible for manufacturing, analytical verification, and production of products to meet customer delivery dates.
  • Supporting the Process Water Consumables Team with process improvements, technical issues, and documentation.

Quality:

  • Peer review of manufacturing and analytical verification data generated for all products.
  • Ensure that all products & data generated meet Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Lead team in updating and improving processes and updating SOP documents.
  • Lead team in constant improvement and solutions to problems/issues while increasing efficiency.
  • Lead external and internal audits that are conducted.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific field required.
  • 3+ years of environmental laboratory related work experience, analytical instrumentation, or similar experience required.
  • 1+ year in a supervisory, floor lead, or coordination role required.
  • Total Organic Carbon (TOC) instrumentation and chemistry a plus.
  • Conductivity instrumentation experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing change and problem solving.
  • Demonstration of ability to work cross functionally across an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
