Job Summary
We are looking for world-class mmWave/RFIC system applications/validation engineers to work with our experienced design team to implement state of the art mmWave broadband communications ICs.

Job Qualifications
- MSEE with 15+ years of experience in validation of RFIC/mmWave transceiver products
- Proven track record of developing high volume RFIC products from concept to production
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, network analyzers, BERTs and spectrum analyzers
- Solid knowledge of mmWave signal integrity concepts
- Solid knowledge of mmWave PCB design and simulation techniques
- Solid experience with mmWave wafer probing techniques and probe card design
- Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as a Python, LabView and MATLAB and simulation software such as ADS, HFSS
- Good problem-solving skills to resolve silicon and system application issues
- Prior experience in conducting technical feasibility and system prototyping for new applications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams and can-do attitude
Key responsibilities
- Perform bench and system application validation of mmWave transceiver products to guarantee performance to datasheet parameters
- Develop bench validation test plans based on design specifications
- Prepare system and application test plans and perform system level testing
- Specify PCB design requirements for bench validation boards
- Perform signal integrity, RF and EM simulations for the board designs
- Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency of bench validation
- Develop functional test software for validation and application testing tasks
- Debug silicon issues and test setup related issues
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to summarize test results
- Construct measurement RF test beds and conduct spectral compliance and regulatory testing at system application
- Work effectively on a cross functional team with analog/digital design engineers, system architects and marketing team
- Actively engage and drive (written and oral) communication with partners and customers
