Main mission

• Perform activities related to safety assurance are applied in development programs and specific application domain under (under the governance/guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager of Trainborne
  

Role responsibilities

• Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review Design, RAM and Testing activities from a Safety perspective
• Build the Safety Case
• Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the system or product
• Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of independent safety assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessor

Desired Skills & Experience (profile)

• Educational Requirements : University Degree level in Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering
• Experience : Safety Functional Concept for railway products
• Required Knowledge & Technical Competencies
  • Able to understand safety function principles
  • Able to apply CENELEC/IEC Standards for Functional Safety (EN5012x, IEC61508)
  • Able to understand HW electrical schemes with both discrete and integrated components
  • Able to read SW Source Code (main programming languages, e.g. C/C++/C#, Python, ADA) and understand SW safety architecture and design principles
  • Able to write and speak English
• Behavioural Competencies
  • Aptitude to study, passion and willing to learn
  • Strong aptitude for soft skills especially for problem solving and work in team
