POSITION SCOPE
Reporting to the Director of Finance North America, this position will be responsible for the financials of the warehouse/ distribution division, Country Malt Group. The role will be supported by a team of senior accountants and will engage in various projects along with continuous improvement initiatives of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Duties for General Ledger integrity for the distribution division in Microsoft Dynamics GP.

• Manages process change for the continuous improvement of Dynamics GP, distribution processes and accounting team.

• Oversees and enhances stock costing function to provide effective reporting of warehouse/distribution inventory.

• Partners with operations to enhance and maintain inventory control procedures.

• Manages cash flow hedges and embedded derivative program for North America.

• Delivers financial reports and analyses to management in a professional and efficient manner.

• Assists with internal and external audits focusing on the distribution division.

• Participates in D365 implementation to replace GP.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university.

• Three to five years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Inventory experience
• Experience in multi-currency environment

• CPA designation preferred, not required.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or AX experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience an asset

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Standard working hours with the ability to be flexible given time zone differences.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position or stand for prolonged periods of time.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

• Personal Protective Equipment is required of all employees if leaving the main office and going to another office located on the premises.

• Must be comfortable working in an open office environment with cubicle seating.

• Periodically exposed to distracting noise levels and vibrations from external sources, i.e. trains.
