SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to develop software under the direction of senior research staff. Developing and testing radar, researching and developing algorithms, and processing codes in MATLAB and/or Python under Windows and Linux environments. Test and evaluate using simulated unclassified, and real world classified data. Assist in other program responsibilities at the discretion of the Principal Scientist to include documentation, code reviews and report writing.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Program development, testing and integration in:
• MATLAB
• Python
• Windows
• Linux
• C++

• Full cycle development including software maintenance, debugging, testing and development.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Bachelor of Science in STEM area preferably Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
• Three (3) + years of Software development experience.
• Demonstrates software development using one or more of these languages:
• Python
• MATLAB
• Linux
• Windows
• GUI development
• Other software experience such as QT, Java desirable
