Job description
The Sourcing Engineer team is the sourcing entry point for new programs: from the needs definition to the commercial release. He/she is in charge of selecting the suppliers in accordance with technical requirements and the sourcing comomodity strategy team in order to achieve the targets of costs, lead-time and quality.
Your Mission
- Be the entry point for new programs, from the needs definition to the commercial release, with the final goal to achieve the targets of costs, lead-time and quality;
- Support and Follow up the sourcing plan (bid list, suppliers selected, price condition, Leadtime, risks);
- Manage RFQ/RDA using specific software (Synertrade SAP), Info Record data entry;
- Support the program team to consolidate the complete price of the Equipment;
- Lead the supply qualification;
- Support engineering team in some advanced technologies: scouting, co-development phase.
Your Profile
Level of education and languages:
- Engineering Diploma, Master’s Degree or equivalent
- Degree in Engineering and/or Business/Economics
- English fluent is mandatory
- Fluency in French, Italian and/or Chinese is a plus
Required experience and skills:
- Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Manufacturing Technologies fundamentals
- Knowledge of the beverage packaging business and market is a plus
- Ability to communicate with both suppliers and other internal stakeholders at all hierarchical levels
