The Role of Spa Receptionist:
The Spa Receptionist is responsible for proactively welcoming guests and dealing with all enquiries, being knowledgeable about treatments, products and services offered as well as pricing, and scheduling treatments to maximize use of time within the treatment schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provide an enjoyable, relaxed and peaceful spa experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile and with professionalism, escort them to the changing room and/or to the treatment/ pool/gym area. Check guests’ health prior to receiving SPA Services or accessing the SPA adjusting treatment bookings accordingly
Ensure any spa area is properly set up and fully stocked and that the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness are followed. Contact promptly the maintenance team if needed.
Make reservations for all facial and body treatments and organize therapists’ appointments accordingly. Promote the sales of SPA treatments, beauty products and accessories, achieving sales targets set by management team.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Report any complaints to the management team.
Responsible for opening and closing the Spa, for all guests’ payments, for cashing up and other accounting procedures. Produce any reports assigned by the management team.
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Pool and Fitness.
Support with any other tasks within the division and/or any tasks assigned to by the management team.
Our Ideal Spa Receptionist will have:
A minimum of one year experience in a front office position preferably in a luxury environment.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing and a can-do approach to any request.
Warm and welcoming personality and drive to deliver exceptional service.
Knowledge and/or interest in Spa and beauty products and services.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language.
Legal right to work in Italy.
