Role Summary:

• Coordination and/or execution with the QC Operation team for the activities of: Manufacturing / Testing, Final test and painting and related associated documentation (ITP order, dedicated painting procedures);
• Preparation of workload planning for the teams of competence;
• Verify that the outputs of the competency teams are in line with the requirements;
• Assistance to internal departments and suppliers for advice on quality control issues;
• Supervision and / or execution of any quality control activities subcontracted to external entities;
• Management / execution of qualifications / supplier audits and support during internal audits;
• Collaborates with QC Campus for the activities of: Incoming inspection, management and calibration of measuring instruments, material and product certificates (Final Doc required by the project);
• Supervision and / or execution of non-destructive NDT tests (only qualified operators);
• Support to the QA / QC Manager for the management of supplier problems;
• Management, verification and analysis of non-conformities using the dedicated Flowserve Quality Quest tool;
• Support to the QA / QC Manager in defining the corrective, preventive, prevention and containment actions of NCR and any associated risks;
• Supports and contributes to compliance with Corporate quality rules

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Manage heterogeneous staff in terms of training and duties
• Interfacing with all internal departments for the planning and execution of controls
• Ensure the total conformity of the products before shipment to the customer
• Manage relations with Customer or Third Party inspectors

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Technical school diploma
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to relate to others and experience in personnel management
• Ability to relate to people outside the company
