Description:Candidate will be responsible for understanding complex electronic devices and systems to establish hardware and software tests, designing/documenting automated test equipment (ATE) interfaces, designing/documenting ATE control software, integrating ATE software and hardware, and demonstrating ATE products to both internal and external customers. - Capable of interfacing with external suppliers and internal program customers, including manufacturing sites in Ocala, FL and Troy, AL. - Interface with hardware suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies
Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
Experience with EO/IR, black body and target wheel controllers, motion controllers is a plus.
Experience with customer interface.

Required Technical Skills/responsibilities:
- Experience designing test equipment and modifying test software using NI LabWindows/CVI, NI LabVIEW, NI LabVIEW FPGA, NI TestStand and Visual Studio based on Test Requirements for acceptance testing.
- Requires test equipment hardware development knowledge using power supplies, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Data Acquisition devices, SMUs, Relays, PXI Chassis, RS-232/422/485, Fiber optic comm, Ethernet, and Switching. Experience with EO/IR, black body and target wheel controllers, motion controllers is a plus.
- Ability to read specifications and/or statements of work and design test systems.

Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies
- Experienced in National Instruments software (CVI, TestStand, or LabVIEW).
- Strong collaboration abilities; acting as liaison with internal and external manufacturing and support functions.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
