5735M-VA TRAVELLING NANNY French mother tongue
Como, Italy/traveling to USA and other destinations in Europe
Live in / possibility to have a separate apartment
Number/Ages of the children: newborn baby and 2.5 year old (who goes to school)
Duties:
Standard Care: hygiene/maintaining the schedule and routine - Preparation of most meals for the children, also in advance - Laundry/changing bed linens when traveling and maintaining the inventory of the clothing - Tidying up the children’s rooms and play areas around the house - Planning educational activities (budget provided for materials) - Dropping and picking up at school - Taking to the park/activities nearby - Help potty training and other developmental milestones Household: - Occasional grocery shopping - Help with the dishes - Taking the trash out
Requirements:
Fluent in English and French. Italian knowledge would be a plus
EU passport or EU working visa
5+ years experience in childcare
Experience with infants is a plus
Knowledge of Montessori approach
Happy to travel 40% of the time (to Europe and North America)*
Driving License
Paediatric First Aid Certification
Ability to Swim/Comfortable on Boats
Dynamic and energetic person, open- minded, global perspective and adventurous to explore with family
Some cooking experience and awareness or at least curiosity around kids nutrition and overall food and health
Proactivity: Attention to detail and thinking ahead to the needs of the children and the family
Working hours: 40 hours per week (incl 1-2 evenings a week) with some flexibility
Accommodation: own separate apartment in close proximity or a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom within the family home
Salary: 1,000£+ net per week - based on individual's experience
Starting date: October 2022 (finalised ASAP, open to start the contract earlier)

- Travel Expectation: up to 40%, mainly long weekends and one potential long annual trip up to 1-2 months at a time (US, EU mainly)
