Onin Staffing is currently recruiting for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead for a large distribution center located in the McAllen area.

The Shipping Lead will be responsible for coordinating and completing the activities of the assigned work group on 2 nd shift. He/she will coordinate and work closely with the 1st shift shipping and receiving leads on all activities relating to but not limited to: material handling

(put away, shipping, picking); cycle counting, repacking, housekeeping and other warehouse duties.

• Ensures safety, housekeeping and operating process are followed.
• Familiar with proper loading of FTL shipments and weight distribution.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks.
• If needed adjust work schedules to meet business objectives.
• Meet and exceed key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and minimum of one (5) Year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities if the position.
• Ability to read, write, speak English & Spanish.
• Licensed forklift operator. Reach truck certification a plus.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Handle complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• Experience operating FG scanners.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• High-energy, self-motivating, self-directed individual capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
• Customer service oriented.
• Meet deadlines successfully.
• Excellent organizational skills.
