Sawmill/ Farm Road Estate Profile

The Farm Road Estate resides on a historic property dating back to the 1700’s, nestled on 32 acers in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. This property was once a 4 star Mobil inn and restaurant during the 80s and 90s. After some dark years and being closed for 3 years completely the new family ownership group has united the property and all the history under on banner of the Farm Road Estate and is determined to bring the glory back to the estate. The Estate sits 5 miles down road from Mount Snow Vermont’s first major ski resort. Sawmill Bar and Table is the restaurant and the grounds provide the platform for large banquets and weddings.

Essential Functions

· Develop and maintain ability to step up and serve at a variety of kitchen stations - breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffets and pastry

· Continually monitor fine details of food production and take responsibility for efficient use of inventory, quality/consistency, and the accommodation of guest specifications

· Able to offer support to kitchen leadership with fresh ideas and creativity toward menu development and presentation

· Able to take direction and work independently with appropriate time management skills and good follow through/completion of tasks.

· Good team player and is able to work long hours

· Able to work in a fast paced kitchen, able to lift 50 plus pounds

· Able to work weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
